World Mental Health Day 2011

On Monday 10 October, Kettering Mind will be holding a fundraising and awareness event in the Newlands shopping centre, Kettering. This event will coincide with World Mental Health Day and will aim to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing, as well as the activities of Kettering Mind. We will also be raising funds by selling cakes and crafts. The event will be taking place between 10.00am and 4.00pm.

Kettering Mind AGM

The Annual General Meeting for Kettering Association for Mental Health will take place on Wednesday 28 September 2011 at 5.00pm. It will take place in the Kettering Mind studio in Russell Street.

Quality Management in Mind Review Outcome

The Quality Review Panel met recently in London to consider Kettering Mind's resubmission report. We are very pleased to report that Kettering Mind has achieved the highest award possible, level three of Quality Management in Mind and therefore also achieved the Charity Commission endorsement, a splendid result.

The Review Panel recognised that quality is embedded in Kettering Mind not just because of the leadership from trustees and the senior management team but also because of a commitment to quality across the whole organisation.

June 2010

Members of Kettering Mind enjoyed a great week in the sun during Mind Week. Sadly, we weren't on the beach, but in Kettering town centre; where we had a mobile office. During the week we spoke to over 200 local people about the work we do and listened to many stories of individuals personal experiences.

We were absolutely delighted to receive over 20 offers from people who wanted to register as volunteers with us. Volunteers are the life blood of our organisation and their skills, talents and time help tremendously with our work.
