In light of the current guidelines around Coronavirus virus (COVID-19) Kettering Mind are restricting our services. Our Mixing Bowl café will not be open to the public until further notice.
All face to face groups and courses at present are cancelled until further notice.
We are aware of the implementation that the current situation has on individual’s mental health which is why, at present, our Crisis Cafés are still running every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening between 5:00pm-11:00pm for anyone who may be struggling.
Our phone lines are also open between 9:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday where there are staff available to speak to on the phone for emotional support.
We kindly ask that if you are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms or if you have been in contact with anyone that may be at risk of carrying the virus to not attend Kettering Mind.

Understand Yourself Better
This is essentially a crash course in personal psychology that has grown out of a series of workshops Derek runs here at Kettering Mind. Derek likes to think of it as “realistic self-help” – recognising that with the best intentions in the world, we are not very good at putting new ideas into practice to improve our lives. It’s likely that we’ll be spending a lot of time at home to help keep us safe. To look after our wellbeing, there are lots of activities we can do without going out that are fun and help us feel good – including crafting!
That’s why we’ll be taking the nation’s craftiest fundraiser online. We’ll be hosting our next virtual Crafternoon on Friday 29 May at 4pm. You’ll be able to do something creative and take some time for yourself, while helping raise vital funds for better mental health.
Don’t worry if you can’t join us on Friday, we’ll host more over this period. Our next session after this is at 4pm on Friday 19 June, and Friday 3 July.
