What is the Mental Health Northants Collaboration?
We are a registered charity and company limited by guarantee formed from a group of Northamptonshire based charitable (not for profit) organisations. Kettering Mind are one of 14 organisations that form the Mental Health Northants Collaboration. We believe that we are stronger in partnership. We work closely with our colleagues across Northamptonshire to develop and provide county wide services.

Individuals who experience mental health problems are free from discrimination and prejudice and are valued and accepted within society.
Local providers working together to deliver quality services to improve the mental health well-being of individuals and their families.
Collectively, we provide a diverse range of professional services across the county; services that are tailored to meet the unique needs to support each individual’s emotional wellbeing, progressions, development and recovery.
Collectively we have over 300 years of experience, knowledge and skills in local delivery of a wider range of quality services which have successfully supported people in their recovery from mental and emotional distress, severe and/or enduring mental health issues, crisis care, family or relationship breakdown, loss and bereavement and other life stresses or problems.
We provide a diverse range of help and support services that promote positive health and wellbeing including counselling, 1-1 support, groups and courses to teach self management strategies for coping with emotional distress, crisis support, gender sensitive issues, peer support, social inclusion/community access, accommodation support, information and guidance resources and work based volunteering.
Who are our services for?
We provide services for adults who are experiencing or recovering from mental and emotional distress, their families, carers and friends. We can support people who have had long term experience of accessing mental health/wellbeing service, as well as those who have had no formal contact with support services in the past.
