Kettering Mind supports individuals to access groups as a means of processing feelings, building resilience, developing practical and social skills and boosting recovery and wellbeing. Coming together in a shared environment supports the development of friendships and prevents social and community isolation.
All the wellbeing groups at Kettering Mind support individual growth, development and desired outcomes, prevents relapse of health and wellbeing, promotes your sense of worth, achievement, purpose and belonging.

Anyone. If you are experiencing a difficult time in your life and your mental health is preventing you from overcoming these difficulties, Kettering Mind is here to help.
How do I apply?
You can access this support by completing a self referral form.
- Download a referral form then return the completed form to us via email, post of drop into Reception.
- Call us to request a referral form; we are more than happy to post or email this out to you.
- Visit Us Our Mixing Bowl is an information point which serves light refreshments. Drop in to find out more about our services and collect a self referral form in person.
What happens next?
Once we receive your completed referral form, we will contact you and invite you in to meet with a worker to discuss the service further. During this initial appointment, we will help you identify what support would most benefit you and arrange for you to access the most suitable support/service.
Relaxation can help you look after your wellbeing when you’re feeling stressed or busy. Taking time away from your normal routines and thoughts can give you enough space and distance to feel calmer. Our relaxation group led by our experienced volunteer is designed to minimise the strain of daily stressors in a calming environment.
Whether you are starting your recovery or near the completion of it, ladies group gives you a chance to meet and chat with different women in a comfortable and confidential setting. All the ladies in the group come together each week to support each other for a therapeutic relief.
Creative expression is key for our mental wellbeing. The aim of this course is to motivate individuals and develop confidence whilst learning a range of artistic skills taught by our experienced facilitator.
